Understanding a stamp
An OKhuman stamp lets a student writer share their human involvement with their reader. OKhuman doesn't detect AI or human writing. Instead it captures evidence of the student's effort. It doesn't interpret the writing or record any words. In fact, words never leave the student's device. The stamp answers two simple questions:
- Was the student involved with the work?
- How much did they struggle?
The involvement labels
| Label | What it describes |
|---|---|
| Most of the text was composed by a person as they wrote. | |
| Most of the text came from elsewhere, but a person spent substantial time reviewing and editing it. This can fit an assignment that allows AI assistance. | |
| Most of the text was typed out from another source. The writer can explain what that source was. | |
| OKhuman didn't observe substantial human involvement. On its own, this isn't a conclusion about the work or the writer. |
